day four...

today's blog will be very short. i only have two things planned for today. having lunch with some peeps (due to work related reasons, today's lunch buddies have asked me to refrain from revealing their names or images) and then i will take corinna to her very first angels game.

since i woke up at 11, i missed working out again for the 3rd day in a row. instead, i went to lunch at this place that rhymes with jazz and cat cafe. you can take a guess where and with whom i went to lunch with, but i will neither confirm or deny your guesses.

as for the evening, brad, corinna, and i enjoyed a night at the ballpark (although its still very bright)...














angels won 11-6! we were all excited about the victory...














way to go corinna...her record is now a perfect 1-0 at angel games. now she has to go to every home game for the rest of the season. also, if she could learn to be a power hitter, that would really help the angels out too.

overall i had a lot of fun at the game, except when brad was being all pissy for no reason...














oh wait, he just had to pee. my bad. but i did find out something new about brad. hes a napkin racist! he said...i think dodger stadium napkins are better, because they're white. i hate angel stadium napkins, they're brown...

day three...

guess what? today is visitation day! im going to start off my day having lunch with miss mayra tota...i mean mrs. mayra tota. after lunch i will visit my cousin and the kids. then i will end the evening with some starbucks with sherry (since she complains we never visit her). not only did i get to visit everyone today, i also learned a lot of new things i will share with you suckas stuck at work! any of it useful...probably not.

so i woke up today at 9:00 thinking i had to leave the house for "work". luckily for me, my mom had to leave early again, so i went back to sleep. unfortunately, that means i had to push back my first day of working out. since i dont really have anything planned for tomorrow morning, i am forcing myself to finally go work out.

hmmm...i just learned that i might be wasting my money with my ballys membership and fooling my mom is going to be easier than i thought.

crap, i cant believe its already ten...














oh...gotta get ready for morongo!!!!! no...i didnt go to moronog today, thats for tomorrow! im kidding, i had to get ready for my lunch with mrs. mayra tota...














since mayra works in beverly hills, i figured leaving at 11:15 would give me plenty of time to meet her at noon. yeah...not so much. i knew i should have left earlier. but i learned a lot of people in los angeles dont work anymore, so there are a lot of cars on the freeway. i also learned that sometimes you need to leave your house earlier, but if you want to look this good, sometimes you're going to be late...

i finally get to mrs. tota's work at 12:30! i swear i hate los angeles! an hour and 15 minutes to get to beverly hills?!?! damn you mapquest...28 minutes my ass!

after lunch, we stopped by pinkberry for some dessert...














i just learned that pinkberry isnt frozen yogurt and that 4 bucks is way too much for frozen yogurt. i also learned that people in beverly hills have way too much money to spend and i guess they dont work? i hate them. damn you rich people!

after my lunch with mrs. tota, i met up with my cousin and his kids. just to let you know, if you dont have to go on the 405, i would advise you to never use it! i also learned that you should never use the 405 to get to the 101. i also learned its not that comfortable driving in 90 degree weather with the heater on. damn you gay miata. well, being able to play with the kids was worth the drive. when i finally met up with the kids, i learned some new things about them...

man...when you're not working, time goes by so fast! i looked at my phone and it was already 930! i remembered grandma sherry goes to bed early, so i gave her a call to make sure she was still awake. unfortunately, she was still awake. i kid sherry...i kid.

sherry is good people. shes a good listener. and i've been talking a lot lately, so it works out...














even though sherry and i liked to tease each other at work all the time, it was nice to have a peaceful conversation for once. i learned we have a lot in common...

i had used to have a black poodle that went blind and deaf and she has a white poodle named puffy....














puffy is pretty gangsta. she wanted me to call her p-doggy. i wouldnt mess with her. she pretty ruff! dont judge me...

oh...she also likes to plant stuff and i also like to sow my seeds! hehe. she grew these grapes herself. i was quite impressed...














hmmm...what else do we have in common? oh...i moved to california 20 years ago and she moved to california 15 years ago. whatever close enough. uh...she was born in taiwan, i was born in michigan. both out of california. she thinks im sexy, i think im sexy. see...we have a lot in common!

lastly, i saw a shooting star from her backyard. too bad i didnt get to take a picture of it. it was cool! i asked sherry if she saw it and she said no. she said maybe it was an airplane that crashed. yeah....

so i made a wish cause i guess you're supposed to make one if you see a shooting star? what the hell...im still waiting for that miniature elephant!!! if not, ill take a miniature horse..

day two...

today i actually woke up earlier than yesterday....














that's only because i thought my mom would still be home. luckily for me she had to leave early for work today. since i didnt have to rush out of the house, i figured i didnt have to rush my first day of working out either.

instead of working out, i went downstairs to check my abm email...














dood...look at those guns! what am i thinking...i dont need to work out. i've been blessed with those 2 inch pythons!

after spending an hour online, i found out there was an angels game at 1230. i was contemplating whether to go to the game or just stay home and watch it. since joe finished his work early, i told him i would make lunch and he should just come for a nooner. guess what his answer was...

san manuel indian bingo and casino!!!!!

just to let you guys know, i only went for research reasons! brad and i are supposed go next next monday to play bingo and i wanted to go and scout the bingo room. make sure its up to our standards. cause you know how crazy we are about bingo!

after being there for only an hour, i decided it was time for me to go. so how do you guys think that one hour went...














thats right baby...winner, winner, chicken dinner! i won 200 bucks! i need to give all the credit to my gangsta belt! last time i went to vegas i didnt have my new belt and i lost big. this time i went to san manuel and i had my new belt and i won. i guess we'll really find out when brad and i go back for bingo! anyway, this 200 bucks should hold me over until next next monday.

after san manuel, i met up with joe, jose, brad, an, and tien for dinner. it was brad's first day back from washington d.c. and he surprised us with some sweet presents...














thats right, we're the four single fedora brothas!!!!! with our belts and hat, the ladies will be putty in our hands! who needs money? we have cool belts and cool hats! this is going to be sooooo easy. yeah...im going to be single forever. sigh...

my first day of freedom....

so today was my first official day away from abm. a day late, but i finally did it...i left! of course ill be back for close next week, but whatever, ill deal with that later.

when i first decided to quit, i had this great idea to try and do something different for 40 straight days. after thinking about it, i dont think i can really do it. its exhausting! i will try my best to do something everyday, but i dont know if it will be something new and different. i just know, theres going to be a lot of visits to costco, toys r us, and target. the best part about this though...my parents dont know i quit!!!!!

without further ado, my first day recap....

not wanting to waste my first day away from abm, i decided to get up at...














i had to get ready to meet up with my old co-workers from abm. i mean its almost been 24 hours since i last saw them, so i wanted to catch up with them and to see how they were doing. but the real reason, it was jocelyn's bday today...














we ate at this place called sambi...














it was okay. it wasnt the best, but it wasnt the worst japanese food i've had either. after we all finished eating, we took a group picture and went our separate ways. i asked everyone if they wanted to go to the mall with me, but none of them said anything. jerks...














after lunch i went on my crusade in search of the transformers monopoly game...


















i first tried target and all i found was spider man crap...


















what the hell?!?! they have a whole section for spider man, but they dont have anything for...














fox and the simpsons people are retarded. they are totally promoting this movie all wrong! whatever...it's their movie.

after leaving target, i went to the mall hoping i could find it there. instead, i find a pair of shoes i like and end up buying....


















at the rate im spending cash and the rate the cash is coming in, i think ill run out of money by mid-august. yeah...that sounds about right.

i also tried going to toys r us, but i couldnt find it there either. my god, i cant find it anywhere. i cant believe im going through all this trouble to buy a game im not even going to open! it just going to sit there with all my other unopened toys. god im retarded. im going to try again tomorrow. if i cant find it then, i guess ill just order it online.

after wasting three hours, i decided to do something productive. i went to sign up for my membership with bally's...

after signing up with bally's i had to go to my softball game at 6:30. i should have just stayed home. we lost 29-1. no folks, that is not a typo. we lost by 28! no joke, this has to be the worst team ever! its okay, i dont have to pay to play, so i wont complain too much.

when i got home, i worked on my ex co-worker dennis' myspace page. i dont know why, but i did okay. so check it out and add him as a friend.

so today was a pretty busy day. i know i didnt do anything crazy or anything cool, but i kept busy. at least i didnt waste my first day away from abm.

as i was stuck in traffic today, i was thinking to myself, why did i quit abm? why am i doing this? and then i saw this sign and it all made sense....















but really...i need this time to enjoy life again. i need to have fun again and just do whatever i want to do. i was becoming angry and bitter from my poor habits and my poor decisions. i need a change for the better and i can only do it a day at a time. i need to earn the trust back from some important people in my life and today was a start. sorry to get all sappy, but i need to do this and i hope i can entertain you guys along the way.

this past monday, brad and i went to the dodgers vs. phillies game. the outcome isnt important, but after the game we went to the...

since joe didnt get to go with us on monday, we decided to visit the other kwik-e-mart on venice. its weird, this kwik-e-mart is way better!

since the movie is coming out soon, there are a lot of different products being placed in the movie. i thought this one was kind of odd...














hot dogs with homer, again...














yeah...this kwik-e-mart is way cooler than the burbank one. they gave us the hot dogs for free! i guess if you leave your wallet at home and have no money, they dont charge you! as long as you eat it before you leave the store. they also give you free drinks to wash down the hot dog. amazing...i know!
