my first day of freedom....
so today was my first official day away from abm. a day late, but i finally did it...i left! of course ill be back for close next week, but whatever, ill deal with that later.
when i first decided to quit, i had this great idea to try and do something different for 40 straight days. after thinking about it, i dont think i can really do it. its exhausting! i will try my best to do something everyday, but i dont know if it will be something new and different. i just know, theres going to be a lot of visits to costco, toys r us, and target. the best part about this though...my parents dont know i quit!!!!!
without further ado, my first day recap....
not wanting to waste my first day away from abm, i decided to get up at...
i had to get ready to meet up with my old co-workers from abm. i mean its almost been 24 hours since i last saw them, so i wanted to catch up with them and to see how they were doing. but the real reason, it was jocelyn's bday today...
we ate at this place called sambi...
it was okay. it wasnt the best, but it wasnt the worst japanese food i've had either. after we all finished eating, we took a group picture and went our separate ways. i asked everyone if they wanted to go to the mall with me, but none of them said anything. jerks...
after lunch i went on my crusade in search of the transformers monopoly game...
i first tried target and all i found was spider man crap...
what the hell?!?! they have a whole section for spider man, but they dont have anything for...
fox and the simpsons people are retarded. they are totally promoting this movie all wrong! whatever...it's their movie.
after leaving target, i went to the mall hoping i could find it there. instead, i find a pair of shoes i like and end up buying....
at the rate im spending cash and the rate the cash is coming in, i think ill run out of money by mid-august. yeah...that sounds about right.
i also tried going to toys r us, but i couldnt find it there either. my god, i cant find it anywhere. i cant believe im going through all this trouble to buy a game im not even going to open! it just going to sit there with all my other unopened toys. god im retarded. im going to try again tomorrow. if i cant find it then, i guess ill just order it online.
after wasting three hours, i decided to do something productive. i went to sign up for my membership with bally's...
hopefully i can go from this....

after signing up with bally's i had to go to my softball game at 6:30. i should have just stayed home. we lost 29-1. no folks, that is not a typo. we lost by 28! no joke, this has to be the worst team ever! its okay, i dont have to pay to play, so i wont complain too much.
when i got home, i worked on my ex co-worker dennis' myspace page. i dont know why, but i did okay. so check it out and add him as a friend.
so today was a pretty busy day. i know i didnt do anything crazy or anything cool, but i kept busy. at least i didnt waste my first day away from abm.
as i was stuck in traffic today, i was thinking to myself, why did i quit abm? why am i doing this? and then i saw this sign and it all made sense....
but really...i need this time to enjoy life again. i need to have fun again and just do whatever i want to do. i was becoming angry and bitter from my poor habits and my poor decisions. i need a change for the better and i can only do it a day at a time. i need to earn the trust back from some important people in my life and today was a start. sorry to get all sappy, but i need to do this and i hope i can entertain you guys along the way.

I have a University of Michigan Monopoly game which I bought six years ago and have never played. It's not even a collector's item... I've opened it, but I don't like Monopoly. So I think that's worse...
