hi everyone. today, i've decided to do something different. instead of being lame and stupid, im actually going to be serious. sort of.....

while i was taking my afternoon shit at work today, i was reading an old sports illustrated magazine. as i flipped through the magazine (on the very last page), there is a story that grabs my attention by rick reilly. its a story about the nets. not the nets we're familiar with. not the ones we use for tennis, basketball, soccer or volleyball. what kind of nets is he talking about......mesquito nets.

here is the information that i got from the UN Foundation website that explains what i am talking about:

In Africa, mosquitoes can kill. Every 30 seconds an African child dies from a malaria infection transmitted by a mosquito bite. Every day 25 million pregnant African women risk severe illness and harm to their unborn children from a malaria infection. Malaria can be prevented through a simple, inexpensive measure: sleeping each night under a net treated with insecticides that kill mosquitoes or stop them from biting. An insecticide-treated net that remains effective at least four years costs just US$5 to $7, but most Africans cannot afford them.

The UN Foundation is working with the World Health Organization, the Global Malaria Programme, African governments and individuals to help protect African women and children from this deadly but preventable scourge.Help make insecticide-treated mosquito nets available to all pregnant African women and young children.

$5 people! thats all we need to give to save an entire family. we spend that on stupid things everyday.....cds, movies, magazines, even gelato! im not trying to be a saint or mr. nice guy, but its just a sad situation for the people of africa.

7 months old!!!!!!

hey everyone! my blog is now siete months old and people still arent reading it. damn counter! ever since i've added this counter, i get more and more sad.

hmmm....should i offer bribes like my cousin? should i add naked pictures? should i just give up and not blog anymore?

of course not....im juggernaut bitch! im going to take some time off to see how i can spice this thing up. maybe ill pimp my blog. make the layout more hip and cool. eh...i cant even figure out how to pimp my myspace. its amazing.....tards i knew in highschool make their pages so cool, yet i barely figured out how to add music to my page.

i dont know what i can change, but i'll think of something....

damn teeth....

so my wisdom teeth are coming out and it hurts like hell. i guess you have four wisdom teeth and they decide to come out when you get older. thats just not wise-dom. good one God....give us some useless teeth that dont fit in our mouth! i could go on about some other useless body parts, but i will refrain since i dont want to be struck by lightning or hit by a car.

four years ago, my first wisdom tooth decided to come out (of the closet) and there was no room in my mouth for him. so my gums got infected and i had to go and get it pulled out. since i just finished school and i was broke, i could only afford to have one pulled out, instead of all four. who would have thought it would hurt so f-ing bad! look how long the root is....















now that i have dental insurance, im thinking of having the other three removed, along with getting braces, and having them whitened. what do you think....















i look like madonna! im starting to talk with an english accent too!

i was thinking.....are my teeth even that bad? instead of braces, should i get these.....












yup....grillz! this is one of the cheaper ones. it only goes for $170. i live in el monte, so i figure in order to enhance my street cred, i think i need to get a pair. they look really good, right?
