the past year or so, i've been trying to read more. because of this, i've decided to start my own book club. you know, like oprah's book club, but i actually read the book. come on, you're telling me she actually has time to read. and no, i am not being racist. black people can read....sort of. i kid. i'm just saying the lady is super busy, yet she has the time to read these excruciatingly long novels? yeah...i didnt think so either. in order to serve the public, i will provide a reliable and credible source and actually read and review the books for you. although it takes me three months for me to finish a book, i will actually read it......
i dont want to copy oprah's title and get into any legal battles, so my book club will be called:
"fantasia barrinos's book suggestions" (hehe....she can't read!)
first book up for review.....
written by the same author of The Da Vinci Code, dan brown does a great job of putting this story together. I think Angels & Demons is more thought out and more suspenseful than The Da Vinci Code. if you have some understanding of christianity and you like conspiracies, then this will be a very good read for you. its fictional, so some of the things that occur in the book are somewhat outragous. if you're looking for something intellectual, maybe you should read something else. if you want to just sit down and read something fun, this book is for you.
im not gonna sit here and review it for you.....read it yourself!
since this is "fantasia's book suggestions" here are some reviews from people who have read this book:
"just read it dawg..." -randy jackson
"i'm stupid and i can't read, but i heard you should read it. i hate you simon!" -paula abdul
"im gay....." -ryan seacrest
next book....
im sure everyone has read this, so just go and read it. try to read it before the movie comes out, so you can see how well ron "opie cunningham" howard keeps to the story. i had a lot of fun reading this book too. it is more fast-paced than Angels & Demons. dan brown did a good job of keeping you guessing throughout the book and you feel cool when you put the clues together. although i was somewhat disappointed with the ending, i dont think there was any other way for him to end the story.
so the above two books only took me seven months to read. i am pretty sure you can finish it up faster, but i like to take my time or you can just say im retarded....duhdadoooo!
next book on my plate.....
inspired by my trip to washington dc (still have to post the pictures from our trip), i wanted to read about what actually happened during the war for our independence from those bad teethed bastards! this book is only 300 pages, but the bibliography is like 200 pages. i think ill just read the first 300 pages.
hmmm....since this book is only 300 pages, i think i should be able to finish in two months. so come back in two months and ill let you know if you should read this book or not.
btw.....Yo Momma is on right now and i want to drive this pen into my ears right now. i hate this show sooooooooooooooo much! so stay tuned and come back for my blog about my hatred for this stupid show.
if you come back, i will give you one-thousand dollar cash money.....
deal....................
or no deal??????

oooh 1776 is on my list of books to read as well. Can I join fantasia barrino's book suggestion club too, so i can discuss? let me know if its a deal..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................or no deal?
I can tell you that the first 150 pages of 1776 are quite good. Then for some reason I moved on to something else. I also read his biography on John Adams...it took eight months, and I really got bored with it, but I wanted to finish it just so that I could say I did. Like I'm doing right now.
umm... i just love the reviews by the "others: kekeke.
